The Company:
The ER Recruitment team are working alongside an award-winning organisation who are going from strength to strength. They design, manufacture and install their own products nation-wide.
To add to their thriving sales team, they are seeking a successful Sales Specialist who has experience selling construction products into local authorities and can grow their social housing sector.

Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Specialist – Construction:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence with local authorities.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and industry research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and other stakeholders within the target market.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop customised solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other networking events.

About You as the Sales Specialist – Construction:
  • Proven track record in sales to local authorities within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new leads, negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Consultative in your sales approach, adding value throughout the sales process.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
