It’ll be an Easter like no other

This generations experienced before

They’ll be no mass Easter egg hunt

Or bank holiday weekend on the shore

But in history we’ve done it

As the Queen said in her speech

We’ve faced battles and world wars

Our British troops heroic in each

Although this virus is invisible

It’s still a deadly threat

Families are losing loved ones

We need to follow guidelines Boris set

So although Easter may be “cancelled”

And we can’t celebrate as we’d like

Take comfort in the safety of your home

And that the end will be soon in sight

Thank you to our key workers

And our amazing NHS

Your work will go down in history

For providing health and support at its best

This will not last forever

We will all meet again

But for now stay safe and positive

Brave Britain will remain.
