In the blink of an eye, it’s our birthday again and in true ER style – we’re celebrating another successful year! After such a vibrant previous year, we thought it’d be hard to top, but with lots of exciting events attended, phenomenal partnerships formed and the growth of our team, we are heading into our 6th year feeling excited and optimistic about what’s to come!
Leicester is a great place to be and we are lucky to have established solid partnerships with various clients and organisations across the East Midlands region - ranging from day one supporters to new partners and collaborations. We are incredibly proud to be part of the buzz that Leicestershire businesses deliver to the city and love working with passionate, likeminded professionals. Just some of these alliances include Patronage for the East Midlands Chamber and the Leicestershire Law Society - two organisations we are immensely honoured and eager to work alongside.
Heading into our 6th year we are also excited to embark upon our latest venture with De Montfort University, Freeths LLP and Brewin Dolphin which will see the increase of diversity within the workplace across a 3 year programme.
This year will see team ER continuing with projects including our #BleedForHayley campaign with the next round of donations taking place from 25th November to 6th December and Recruitment Business Manager Maxine sitting as Committee Member for Network LE. In other hot off the press news, we are delighted to be sponsoring Leicester Tigers player George Ford for another season and welcome our newly sponsored Leicester Riders player Joe Scott.
As avid supporters of local charities and communities, our work with Hope Against Cancer, Wooden Spoon and many more will endure into our new year with us attending a multitude of events including the famous Oktoberfest, Cosby Golf Day and Hope Through Business lunch in which Eileen is a trustee.
It wouldn’t be a new year without an announcement regarding upcoming award ceremonies we are attending! As a judge of the Niche Business Awards our MD Eileen is looking forward to a glamorous evening to celebrate Leicester talent. We’re also excited about being a partner of the Alternative Business awards, sponsor of the East Midlands Chamber Customer Excellence award and the Leicester Mercury Business Excellence in Innovation award. Alongside these prestigious local awards, with Eileen as Co-Chair we will also be attending the Enterprising Women awards next March.
The future is bright for Eileen Richards Recruitment, after the successful hire of our Sales & Marketing Specialist Laura we now have our sights set on extending the team further introducing both Specialists and Account Managers into the team and reviewing and enhancing our sectors.
To celebrate our birthday the team will be getting our gladrags on and heading down for a day at the races – a great way to enhance team relationships amongst some healthy competition, a glass of fizz and amazing hospitality!
