Our Super Star Sarah!

Throughout the last few months, employees have been going above and beyond to support the businesses they work for. Some have been flexible to offer additional support where needed, others have learnt new skills to add additional value and several have even stepped outside of their comfort zone and have taken on new tasks and responsibilities entirely!

Our Office Manager and Eileen’s EA Sarah has done just that! Usually, Sarah would be in charge of ensuring everything in the ER office runs smoothly, supporting our busy recruitment team and of course working closely with Eileen. However, over the last few months like many other businesses everything ‘usual’ has gone out of the window and a new adaptable and hands on approach has been adopted in its place.

With the majority of Team ER having been on furlough or working from home, Sarah stepped away from her traditional day to day tasks and instead has taken on a variety of job roles, including that of a recruitment consultant. With a background of working in the recruitment industry, and a vast amount of insight into the role, Sarah took to her new responsibilities like a duck to water and has been a crucial factor in our ability to survive and thrive.

Team ER have all now returned to work and resumed their usual work duties with Sarah too returning to her position as Office Manager and EA, but this time with a new skill added to her belt and a newly cemented confidence that despite challenges, hurdles and uncertainties, she was faced with a role and well and truly smashed it – who knows we might make a consultant out of her yet!
