So after a month full of birthday celebrations the Eileen Richards Recruitment team can now officially say we are 5 years young!
Our new financial year has kicked off with a phenomenal start with September being one of our most bustling months yet! Alongside adding additional recruits to our own team, we have been incredibly active in placing experienced candidates in positions with a significant amount of our clients - increasing our placement rate to 95%.
Discussing the upsurge within the industry market Recruitment Business Manager Maxine Eversfield said "Within this past month alone our business has completely soared! With the summer period coming to an end, more and more candidates are in a position to take the leap for that new career step before 2019 hits. Specialising across seven varied sectors, we work alongside an array of prestigious clients each with their own specific needs, however with the lead up to Christmas lurking we see an influx of vacancies across all industries to keep up with seasonal demand – and consequently our hunt for great quality candidates begins!”
Outside of our thriving office, we have been lucky enough to attend a multiple of exciting events this September! Starting off with the Niche Business Awards where our MD Eileen Richards MBE was awarded ‘Business Woman of the Year’ our weekend kicked off to a triumphant start! As season ticket holders and proud sponsors of George Ford we have had the opportunity to celebrate the multiple victories of the Leicester Tiger’s home games at Welford Road Stadium and look forward to entertaining our clients at many more games throughout the season.
As avid supporters of Hope Against Cancer, this month alone our team supported the phenomenal Leicestershire and Rutland based cancer charity by taking part in the Steamin’ Billy Bike Ride (38 miles of cycling!), the Hope Curry Night and finally the Rope for Hope Abseil which our Office Manager Sarah bravely signed up to and accomplished!
However, the excitement doesn’t stop there! As a new partner of the Leicester Comedy Festival, team ER were invited to attend one of Leicestershire’s greatest comedy nights yet ‘The Pick of the Fest’ which headlined some of the nation’s best comedians and were able to network amongst some of Leicestershire’s finest professionals.
Eileen’s accolades continued at the Leicester Mercury Women in Business Awards where again team ER got to witness our MD take away the ‘Business Woman of the Year’ for a second time this month! We were proud to sponsor the ‘Inspirational Woman of the Year’ Award which was presented by our Brand & Marketing Exec Scarlett Tinsley. A phenomenal night all round to celebrate Leicestershire’s outstanding female success!
So as we wave our birthday month goodbye, we say hello to a new and crisp October which we are feeling more enthusiastic about than ever! The Eileen Richards team have incredible plans for the month ahead which includes providing even more of our clients across the Midlands with first class recruitment training – a course which has achieved a 98% success rate across the board! We look forward to taking our clients, candidates and supporters on another fantastic journey – keep your eyes peeled!
